Hi Gang

I'm a 75 year old Wrangler user (had #2 Wranglers the last 30 years). Although I enjoy watching 'Matt's Off Road Recovery', I've never been interested in climbing rocks. :)

With regard to my current Wrangler 4.0 2004, (well cared for @ 150K), I've been stuck in 'Limp Mode' and recieved TCM Error Code P0700 - 'Communication Error'

Finally located a replacement HERE

They look reputable - Generally Good Reviews 4.8 - Anyone have any experience with them?

Thank You

I would reach out to Mark @Wranglerfix fix with the symptoms you’re having and see what he says-

I bought one from them and it has been working fine. I have no complaints. It does take some driving to get it to learn and shift right.

Go with Wranglerfix.com. And do buy/borrow an inexpensive aftermarket code reader so you can read the underlying code(s) that generated the generic P0700 code.

I just wanted to mention Aires is a decent company. I picked up a remanufactured/reprogrammed TCM and that took care of the problem perfectly!

Thanx for your feedback here ....
