Looking for the part number or where to purchase a missing body mount bushing that is located in between the rear bumper/frame and body. I need the rubber piece, housing, bolt etc, as there's just a large hole there now. You can see where it goes when kneeling down and looking right above the bumper. Dorman has several options, but you need to know the body mount location number...1,2,3,4 or 5 and I'm not sure which is which. Any help provided is greatly appreciated! I just bought a 2000 Sahara a couple days ago....slowly making a list of things it needs. Thank you

Go to go to the wrecking yard and pull the parts off a wrecked Jeep.

The body mount numbers start at the front and the numbers increase as you go toward the rear.

Rock Auto, Geek Parts, Quadratec and many online parts stores have them.

The picture I posted was for an 04 TJ.
Maybe the bushing in the front center is not included in the body mount kits...
All of the kits and individual bushings that I looked up only indicate 4 large bushings and 6 small bushings.

I believe the part numbers are: 55176178 & 55176179

#5 & 6 are the same mount. I got mine from Autoplicity for $14.59 ea.

Perfect - now we're making progress!

When I recently did the BL on my TJ. I replaced the body bushings using the Crown complete set at the same time. All if the bushings were included.

I'm considering replacing all of the bushings, but one completely gone is obviously pretty noticeable. I like the wheels on your Jeep. Are those off a Rubicon? 16s or 17s? And is that a 2" lift?

I meant to say that the two rear bushings and the one under the grill are the same. The wheels are Ravines. They were an optional wheel. Picked them up off of CL and the bought one for the spare off of EBay. I have just a 1.25 Savvy Body lift. Thinking about doing 2” springs as well and then running 32” tires. The wheels are 15”.

Has anyone who ordered Dorman 924-270 found the metal tubular part is too long to fit in position #1 under the front grille?

I'm only replacing that one so can't comment on positions 5 and 6. Original metal tubular part on my Jeep was so rusted it disintegrated so I can't measure length or see how it fit... if anyone can comment... I assume it's meant to be short enough the rubber squeezes the metal part of the frame it mounts to a bit.
