Brake issues seize after new pads

Hi All,

Recently purchased a 02 TJ and changed the brakes. Immediately noticed they are now stuck on the rotor.

I’ve bled the entire system, greased the pins, changed the rotors, new pads, but soon as I push down on the brake both callipers seize onto the rotors.

I checked the callipers and they extend when I push the brake with no pads and wind back in without much force with th the tool.

Could it be my master cylinder or did both callipers just happen to go bad at the same time?

Did you bleed before or after you replaced the pads?

If the caliper pistons move in and out, they aren't bad.

Seize as in stay very close contacting the rotor or seize as in they affect the rig when driving?

I'd start by cleaning out the caliper piston bores, if you can't do that, replace the calipers. It would be unlikely that both brake lines failed at the same time or the booster went bad.
