I recently noticed that the right (outside) side of my passenger seat has a lot more lean than the left (inside) side.
Feels like something is broke down at the hinge area.
I haven't tore into it yet. Maybe this weekend.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and/or has a fix for it.

maybe something just got loose on ya. IIRC when i removed my sliders i pulled a bolt and the back of the seat got sloppy loose like fold over backwards sloppy. the whole thing is dependent on all pieces staying tight it's a hodge podge of interdependent pieces that make up the structure.

Ohhh we have the same issue with the passenger seat but opposite sides.

How did you go about getting to the mechanism?

Honestly, I didn't have to.
I pulled the seat covering off, at least around the pivot area. You can get the plastic guard off without removing the seat back (top) portion.
While removing the covering, I was playing with the recline lever and it started acting different. I also noticed there was less play in the flip/fold cable. Anyway, it kind of fixed itself and I wasn't able to recreate the problem.
Weird, because a week of getting in and out of the back (and reclining) while on vacation did nothing.

I was expecting to have to pull the whole seat out to get a better look at what might be going on.
