I am currently in the process of swapping out my 2.5 from my 99 TJ and found a 2.5 out of a 93 YJ. I plan on swapping all the external components from my bad engine to the 93 engine. I noticed while looking a rebuild kits, that the camshaft was a different part number. Will the camshaft from a 99 fit in the engine block of a 93 or does it really matter which one I use? Any help would be appreciated.
