Can you identify these control arms?

HI. Newbie here. Rebuilding my '97 Sport and found a great frame that came with stock axles, 4" springs, shocks and adjustable control arms. I'm curious about the quality of the control arms but, after looking through hundreds of pics, I can't figure out what brand they are. They seem pretty stout but just wondering if they're any good. Attaching some pics. Any help appreciated!

Those look like the old teraflex arms. I would not run those.

old teraflex. Mine had those lowers with stock uppers when I bought it.

The idea was that they could rotate on the threads and prevent bind as the axle articulates. The problem is that it allows twisting along the axis of the arm but does nothing for swinging of the arm in the horizontal plane, which happens quite a bit if you look when you have it drooped out. Combine that with stiff polyurethane bushings and you have a delicious recipe for tearing off control arm mounts. They also wear out the threads in short order if not greased regularly. Mine had actually been welded solid because the threads were trashed. I could hear the mounts creaking on shockingly small amounts of flex.

Thanks very much to all of you! I was wondering about the lack of misalignment and you all confirmed my fears. And was also concerned about the dropped pittman arm. The frame came with the extended mount for the track bar. From what I'm reading I should go back to the standard arm and mount and get an adjustable track bar? If so, I'll research which track bar is recommended. Thanks again! This forum is awesome!

that looks like the stock track bar mount to me. Yes, go back to a stock pitman arm.

The most popular adjustable track bars around here are Currie and JKS because they are bent to cause the least interference with the differential cover when the axle is stuffed. I have the Currie because it offered the best compatibility with the amount of lift I had, but I think I would have been just as happy with JKS if it had worked out.
