Figures you'd be the one to come up with that song!
Figures you'd be the one to come up with that song!Never heard it before, but there's no mistaking that she's the artist who sang "Blanket On The Ground".
Wait...so not only is the world inundated with '57 Chevies, but now with '57 Chevy songs???![]()
I also have an album that I picked up at a thrift store that is nothing but the sounds of cars ripping down the quarter mile. The "tracks" (pun intended) are listed by what the vehicles are, and what size engines are in them. It's fun to listen to the high-winding small blocks, and the more lumbering big blocks. I want to say that the recordings are of the Winter Nationals in 1961, but I can't remember for certain. The album is tucked away in a box somewhere, but I can't remember exactly where at the moment, and I haven't seen it in years. I do know that I still have it, however, as it's not something that I would ever get rid of. I also have an album that is nothing but the sounds of either Grand Prix racing, or racing at Le Mans. Again, I cannot remember which. I bought it at the same thrift store probably twenty years ago.
Hey can you post the title, or a picture of the album cover or a link to it? I know at least three people who would think that was the most awesome gift ever!
