Cheap 3rd Brake Light Extension

I was looking through all the usual places online for a 3rd Brake light extension that would clear my 33x12.5x15s. There were $35 fixes up to about $130 fixes. I'm a Mississippi boy with a Louisiana education, I figured I could get the same effect with crap I had in the bottom of my tool box.

I like to save various trinkets and bobbles that come with accessories and installation kits. I found enough stuff to make these. It gave me enough lift to clear the 33s, and didn't cost me a thing.

I had been wanting to raise mine too. My neighbor ran into my black aluminum fence with his lawnmower so I went to the fence company and got 3 new pickets. We replaced them and I hated to throw the bent ones away. One day I decided to raise that brake light and I thought why can’t I cut me some spacers out of one of those square pickets. It worked out great.

Around here, someone would remove your tire just to steal those sweet stacks of quarters! Looks good, I didn't have that many washers of all the same size or I would have done something like that too.
