I have an issue with a clunking noise some where in the left front of my jeep. The local dealer told me to replace the track bar and sway bar links. I did and the noise is even worse. It mainly occurs on bumpy roads or when turning. Yesterday we had heavy rain which I was driving in and the noise completely disappeared. Help!

On mine the JKS track bar had a frozen johnny joint on the frame side (left side) and this had elongated the mounting hole in the bracket, after replacing the track bar and making the elongated hole round again I no longer had a clunking noise.......
If you are replacing the ball joints it is prudent to replace the unit bearings and the axle u joints while you have it all apart, depending on how many miles are on the jeep........
