Convert parking brake to disc

hey guys first post I hope I put it in the right place. Any way my jeep already has disc brakes that came stock with the sahara but the parking brake are shoes inside the rotor. I have to redo my back brakes anyway calibers rotors pads and shoes. I want to know if there is a caliber that will bolt right on with the attachment to also work as a parking brake. so Instead of pads and shoes I can just have pads. any help is greatly appreciated thanks guys. I'm ok changing parking cables and things like that but I dont want to do any fab work to the axle.

If your rear brakes are disk but your parking brakes are drums, keep them as-is. The parking brake doesn't get enough use or wear to warrant being replaced with disk.... not that a disk brake is desirable as a parking brake anyway. That's why drums are there for the parking brake even when the rear brakes are disk.

My first rear disk brakes were when we bought my wife's 1996 Grand Cherokee brand new. As Jerry mentions They should be kept. We replaced the shoes the second time we did the pads. IIRC the cables seemed to be somewhat stretched by then and maybe should have been replaced but the parking brakes were still doing pretty well.

Way better than the rear disk brakes I had on a New Beetle. While the brakes themselves were fine, the parking brake hardly worked when new, went down hill from there and made a special brake tool a requirement to even change the pads.
