X2. Not to mention there's not a differential to be seen in that photo ("It's the diff lol").

My crystal ball is temporarily down otherwise it'd be easy to answer despite the lack of info.

I'd say that the steering stop is welded to the lock nut.

Oh so that's why people put washers in, to limit the radius.
Must be a factory/lawyer/c-y-a kinda thing.
On my non/stock Dana 44, I just loosen the lock nut and adjust it.
Same thing on my old Land Cruisers I had.

almost all high pinion dana 30 steering stops are welded just an fyi. if this is a tj obviously its a low pinion but theres no info so who know lol
