I bought my '97 TJ last summer and it came equipped with (I believe) a custom made rear storage box that I'm selling. The tailgate door closes almost against it to secure any cargo. It's been powder coated dark blue with sparkles. It has a 7 1/4" cut out for a subwoofer facing the front. It had in it mounted to the inside walls a power converter and 2 amplifiers that are NOT included. There's a hole in front bottom to run wiring thru. It has a tire mount for the top painted red that bolts to the top. The box has 2 bolt tabs towards the front bottom that you can use to bolt into the existing rear seat belt holes in the floor of your Jeep. The rear shoves in pretty hard to hold it in. So hard that I thought it was somehow bolted in where I couldn't see. My Jeep has a carpet kit installed so that helped with it being shoved in.
The framing is square metal and the top and sides are screwed into the framing.
It measures 12" high, 35 3/4" wide, and 35" long.
I've looked around and haven't seen anything else like it. New units are in the $500 range. Serious inquiries only please. I'm in Southern California. Thanks
