I’m having a problem with my dash lights. I replaced the headlight switch thinking that it would help and it hasn’t. My dash lights only come on when I pull the headlight knob out into a lucky spot. If I pull the knob all the way out they shut off. So I can get them on if I play with it for a little please help. 1999 Jeep wrangler.

Check your grounds. Especially the one in the driver's side footwell and behind the headlights.

It is possible that the new switch is bad also. Happens more often than you would think.
