Different options of placement for passenger grab bars

I am curious to hear (and see pics!) the different places people put their grab bars/handles for their passengers.

During off-roading shananagins (as a passenger) I believe it would be comfortable and more relaxed to not have to lean forward and hold the “oh shit” bar, or the grab bar that’s mounted to the frame, trim, bar, etc… (forgive me if I’m lacking terminology, but whatever spot the installer chooses…either way, it’s up, and/or forward. From what I’ve noticed.)

Mind you, I’m pretty tall. 5’10. And I’m finding that I’m leaning forward or holding onto something in a forward/up position, takes quite the toll after a couple hours of off-roading…oh. This is a “no door” mission, might I add.

So my idea was inspired by riding on the back of a Harley, and the convenience of having grab bars/straps that surrounded the whole seat (two low profile metal ones on the side, soft leather one in the front)…man, it sure did make a difference instead of having to lean forward and hold the driver the whole time!

So I thought it would be a good idea to install some for the shot gun seat maybe two upright, maybe just one…prehaps bolted to the seat frame work? Maybe to the floor? Cloth grips? Metal grips? Metal rails?

if the location is strategically chosen and the grabs are low profile enough, maybe it wouldn’t terribly hinder the entering/exiting?

Lemmie tell you…leaning forward constantly, then moving back trying to get ur bum to stay seated, yah end up feeling locked by the seat belt, and it’s not the bee’s kneeeees. I think my idea might also help the shoulder belt from getting so tempered too?

If you're trying to keep your ass in the seat then maybe you should look at harnesses. Like this guy with no fenders, a turbo and lots of badges.

One off-roading tip is to lean your seat back forward. Keeps you more upright and eliminates fatigue from leaning forward. Grab handle on the roll bar between A and B pillar.

The best handle I ever installed was a seat. A good seat like a PRP daily driver makes it so that you don't have to hold on to tons of shit to stay in place, made my offroad trips 10 times as enjoyable because I'm not fatigued at the end like all my friends in their stock seats.
