Do I have to wait for the Rtv to cure before refilling my Differential fluid?

Hey everyone, I have a 97 TJ five speed 4.0 with Dana 30 front differential. I just pulled the differential cover, drained the fluid and closed it back up with a bead of RTV to seal it.

how long should I wait before refilling the differential with fluid? do I need to give the RTV any curing time or just fill it back up and move on?

I often don't have the luxury of time to wait for a cure, so typically I fill it up within 20 minutes and it's never been an issue.
