I am putting a 2" BDS lift kit on my TJ. Should I put new upper and lower control arms in as well? It currently still has the stock ones on it.
I am also putting a new front stabilizer bar on.
If that means you're sticking with the factory arms, that's a good decision for that height suspension lift. The factory arms are stronger and work much better than their cheesy stamped steel appearance would seem to indicate.

What year is your jeep? It wouldn't hurt to inspect the bushings for wear while you at it. My 1999 had pretty bad bushings and I replaced all the arms. I'm at 1.5" of lift.
