I know it’s not a Jeep but it’s close to the liberty... figured someone here may have a idea what the problem might be.
It’s the wife’s car. 2007 nitro. Automatic trans.
When she first gets going.. back down the driveway. Everything seems ok. Put it in drive and go to the stop sign at the end of our street and everything working as it should . When accelerating after the stop sign it’s as if the trans was shifted into neutral. Put it park then back to drive and everything is fine for the rest of the drive.
By the way. The fine folks at Chrysler decided we should not be able to check our own trans fluid. They deleted the dipstick.
I’m guessing it’s a bad sensor of some sort. I know a lot of you are pretty good with diagnosing stuff so I figured I’d pick your brains..
