Quick question, with the jeep in the air on jackstands, transfer case in 4low, trans in 1st, and the jeep ideling, should I be able to see the driveshaft runout? I can watch it move about an 1/8 inch at least off center.

How are you measuring the runout? Which drive shaft?

Both shafts, one has about 1/8 in or so at the pinion side and the TC side spins almost perfectly true. The other has a little over 1/8 on the TC side.

I don't have a dial indicator but I fabbed up a quick mount and used a pointer off a tram gauge you use in a collision shop to measure frames. I set it to touch the "high" side and then rotated the shaft and measured the gap.

You can actually watch it wobble when it's spinning in gear. I took a video but I can't get it to post.

Assuming you are getting vibes? I'm no expert, but I don't think you should have any runout what so ever at either end.
