Failed Inspection - Body Mount Advice Needed

Hello yall, new user here from Golden, British Columbia.

I have an 04 TJ and I need to repair the floor supports; however, I see atleast three different styles of aftermarket panels. I am unsure which kind to purchase. The three mounts on each side below the doors haven't collapsed yet, but they will one day soon.

I posted on reddit and received no responses, hopefully I have better luck here!

If anyone can link to the style of repair panels they used and any advice I would sincerly appreciate it!!

Thanks for the link! I really appreciate it. This is by far my worst body mount. I repaired the driver floorpan with some 18ga sheet metal a few years ago, hopefully it doesn't complicate the job even more...

Yikes. I would buy a new torque box and repair the whole thing. Its a BIG job...I was faced with that and decided that rather that screw around with trying to repair the rust, I bought a clean tub and swapped it on. If you do decide to repair or replace it, look up Pocono Metal Works. They have good reviews and are less expensive than AutoRust technicians (the original Safe-T-Cap guys)

I'm unsure if I'd be able to purchase a clean tub in my location. The 'full length' torque box repair panels look like they go for about $300-$350 per side in Canada.. not looking forward to it

This jeep belonged to a brother that passed back in 2016, so selling is not an option for me. Here's a photo of him and his girl with it back in the day

I bought 6 pre-fabbed sections to replace the center body mounting points. I cut out and welded in the rear 2 on either side and still have yet to do the front two but if you have the tools and a welder is a weekend project. Really not all that bad. Just make sure the bolt holes line up with the frame mounts or you’ll be cutting it back off lol I bought the metal from either eBay or Amazon for $100 or so.

For what it's worth, I have a new set of torque box repair pieces (Safe-T-Cap brand) that I bought for my '98, before buying a replacement tub. You'll have to look on their website for the application (location of what area these repair). If you're interested, I will make you a killer deal on them, as I have no use for them anymore. If you figure out the shipping costs, I will adjust the price (if at all possible) to where you'd have a hard time refusing the deal. Sounds like one of those ads where they say "Our prices are so low, we can't say it on the air!", doesn't it? Just let me know if you're interested, and I'll see what I can do. I'd rather see them get put to good use than stay in my garage. Here's what I have...

Thanks for the generous offer! I could be interested in those, however it is my front body mount that is in the worst shape. I also noticed my rear floor pans are rusting out from the bottom

I found someone with a Rubicon tub of the same year and engine cc, it looks like it may have surface rust and the gentleman wants $1500 for it....

No problem at all. I can't remember what area these are for, but I believe they might be more for the center section. Anyways, if'n it comes to pass that you do need 'em, just let me know. Sounds like that tub might be the solution to your problems, though...

I would urge you to keep the tub and fix it if you have the ability or if you have the money to pay someone, given the story behind it.

1500 isn’t terrible for a tub, but I’d expect it to be rust free at that price. I paid 800 for one that was rust free but had front quarter damage.

I would strongly urge you to get the full torque box vs piecemealing the repair. The finished product will be much better, and I don’t think to work will be all that different, especially if you are going to tackle the floors too.
