Fast blinker

When signaling for a right turn my blinker relay is now twice as fast. I'm sure it's a relay or possibility a bulb or ground but is there anything else I should look at? Does changing the bulbs first make sense or should I just go straight to the relay?

Check every single exterior bulb. Your blinkers, side markers, rears - everything.
The electronic system is designed to blink fast when a bulb burns out in order to alert the driver.
The burnt bulb does not necessarily correlate to the which turn signal rapidly blinks, etc.
The system is expecting a certain resistance/power usage, which will be less with a burnt out bulb.

(Also note that installing a LED light without modification can have the same effect - and fool the system into thinking there is a burnt out bulb).

It was rear passenger 1157. And it looked good but wasn't. Fortunately I keep spares. All is good thanks for the feedback guys.

I just went through this and it is most likely your flasher relay and not a bulb. Flasher rely is on your steering column. You can You Tube how to change. Easy, inexpensive fix.

Fortunately it was the bulb. Actually one that replaced a few weeks ago.
