Feedback requested on this TJ frame

Well sold my 2004 Rubicon a few months ago and shopping again. Found this jeep in Forsyth, MO. https://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/ctd/d/forsyth-2005-jeep-wrangler-lj-81k-mi/7232995852.html. It is owned by a dealer there. I asked him about rust on the frame and he told me normal surface rust so I asked him to send me some pics. They are attached below. Obviously the frame has been painted over. I live in OKC so its about a 450 mile drive to look at it. Also curious about your thoughts on the asking price. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Someone painted over surface rust. Take an endoscope to the inside of the frame and you'll know the whole story.

DO NOT (I REPEAT DO NOT) buy it without taking an endoscope to the inside of the frame.

It sure seems like LJ prices have had a significant increase in the past few months.

Very nice looking vehicle with low mileage.....
Some of the factory frame access holes have signs of rust painted over.
Definitely do as Chris suggests and do an inspection of the inside of the frame rails especially near the dog legs around the rear axle.

Just take a small ball peen hammer...you only need to tap.
If you get a clank...good to go.

If you get thud/poof you've got a mushy part.
I promise you I'm in the land of shit frame Jeeps from all the God damn salt used here.

Definitely agree here. I don't see anything in the pictures that would make me not go look at it.

i see no signs of rotted metal. It is getting there for sure, but it is still at beginning stages. Depending on the region, this may be a gem... cause we have seen some shit on here for sure...

I agree, and it would be enough for me to not risk a 900 mile round trip.

I would ask someone here that lives near the Jeep to go check it out for you, most scopes like the one I have makes videos, have them send it to you.
