New to me 2006 rubicon

It has warn chrome W610 fog lights, not sure if they are factory installed but appear to be part of OEM wiring

When i pull the control handle on the light control the fog liggt indicator , green light, comes on in the instrument cluster

The lights do not come on

Checked fuse, okay
swapped relay with starter relay, still starts so i think relay is good

I put a meter on the hot wire at the light and a ground but don't see any volts

Is it a mistake/wrong to remove a light and jump straight from battery to hot and ground to ground to make sure the light works

I reslly like the looks of these lights
Are they OEM?

Appreciate ideas

Do you have a picture?
You mean picture of fog light?

If there is no voltage at the wiring to the lights, that is at least one of your issues (and possibly the only one). You can connect the light directly to the battery to see if it works, but you would still need to determine why there is no voltage on the fog light wire.

How certain are you those aftermarket lights are connected to the factory wiring harness and dash switch?

I got one light to flash on messing with the bulb and ground
Make me think the circuit is good to the light case/ bulb holder

I just got 2 new 100w H3 bulbs
Gonna try that and see if its inside the light case wiring or bulb connections
