I thought some of the members here may appreciate this.. This thing is a BEAST.. and so far it's gone everywhere the owner has pointed it.. Now he's thinking about taking it on The Rubicon Trail - think it's do-able?

I sincerely hope he doesn’t, it’s shit shows like this that close trails

We had about a half dozen surplus WW2 6 wheel drive weapons carriers that I used to keep alive for large sitework. Each had a Dodge industrial straight six flathead and were equipped with front and rear PTO winches and a 20' boom off the front for laying pipe in a trench. I loved working on them and driving the construction sites. There was no stopping them.

I keep looking at these ex military Unimogs, no idea what I'd do with it for the cash they are going for at the Auctions they are cheap as chips (although very exxy when built I presume)
When modified they look awesome, wouldn't mind one to go to the shops in.
