Fuel gauge inaccurate

I bought a 97 2.5L tj a few months ago and have been fixing it up and the last thing that I need fixed is my fuel gauge. I just replaced the fuel pump assembly this morning but that still didn't fix the gauge. Are there any ideas on how I can fix it?

How is it wrong? TJ fuel gauges are notoriously inaccurate and it’s actually normal to some degree.

At a full tank I'm sitting at abt 3/4 and when It's empty I'm close to half a tank

Did you get the pump for the 15 or 19 gallon tank?
