are the windows for the full doors interchangable? got broken into last night and they smashed my front driverside window. I can only find glass for the passenger side window, the doors seem pretty straight so wanted to check if it matter which side door the window came from?

And after looking at aftermarket glass, they sell both a right side and a left side. Though they look identical...

Thanks for sharing the photos I did look at schematics and part numbers but nothing really showed a real difference.

I am getting some perspecs fitted tonight but my insurance company can't offer an eta on the glass arriving as they are so rare over hear.

I tried another auto glass company, the price they quoted to repair would cost more than important a whole door from abroad.

Only thing stolen was an OBD2 reader. But they broke the centre console as I had it locked. Replacing that will be a bigger PITA

Bastards. Sounds like they made off with pretty much nothing though!

You can get replacement locks easy bro! And then, just take it to a special locksmith who can code it to your key.

I know how to replace the locks myself the problem is they have physically snapped the top of my console off in a place it can't be repaired, Finding a replacent console in this country will be difficult. Will probably end up having to import one.

Ah I see - have you considered buying a Tuffy center console (If you absolutely cannot find a replacement OEM console)?

Yeah they same a bit pricey to. I really wish I didn't lock the console now. As the idiots wouldn't have smashed it up to get inside.

Yes, very expensive indeed. They are proud of their product.

Thieves are the lowest scum in my opinion. To damage and destroy someone else's property, just so you can take from them what isn't yours, is beyond fathom.

I'm sorry to tell you this my friend, but this appears to be your PASSENGER side window. The drivers side is on the LEFT side.... :roflmao:
Drivers side is on the right side in this country ... we drive on the correct side of the road here ;)

All fixed now, ppr industries still manufacture these. Morris exported it out it me within 5 days and ppr took around a week to make it.

Window was very easy to install like most things on a TJ. Longest part was removing all the shattered glass trapped Inside the door which was made easier by taking the door off and holding it at every angle with the vacuum cleaner inside
