GenRight always fabs some really nice parts for our Jeeps. One of the few companies who consistently engineer/release new products for us. This product looks great for a lot of folks here that use their Jeeps for overland trips. $69 for the TJ. $89 for the LJ.

That looks good but can the hard top mount back on while this product is still in place or does it need to be removed?

The rail would need to be removed as the rail uses the existing mounting holes to attach to the tub. Also if you take a detailed look at the picture I attached above, there would be a gap between the bottom of the hard top and the tub where the rail doesnt match the run length of the entire tub.

But on a positive note, it uses three mouting points to attach. So taking it off shouldnt be that big of a hassle or take a large amount of time and effort. I could be wrong, someone will definitely feel the need to complain about that.

Looks like you might be able to use a soft top with them. If thats the case, they look like they could be very useful. Not even that expensive really.

I have them in my LJ with soft top and they fit and work fine. Got them in 2016 for $40 on Black Friday. They've gone up in price quite a bit!

I'm thinking that if you use some spacers you could mount the tie downs under the tub rail instead of on top, then they would be out of the way for a hard top (probably have to use longer bolts when installing the hard top). Might have to get a bit creative on the driver's side working around the wiring that runs back to the rear of the tub, but I think it could be doable.

Ohh I was under the impression they were new from Genright. My bad, I was wrong to put that in my title. They are new to me though since this is the first I am seeing them.
