Gold Coast Fog Light Switch Doesn't Work

Bad start for a Friday. Back in April I bought a light switch and relay from Gold Coast via Amazon for my to be purchased fog lights. Well I bought some fog lights for my girl and was getting ready to hook them up. Building an auxiliary fuse and relay panel. While doing some measuring and fitting I decided to check the operation of the switch. I know should have done that back in April when I installed it. Well guess what there is a dead short from one of the hot lead to ground and nothing between the two supply and load leads regardless of the switch position. Sent them an Email via Amazon but nothing back yet. Tomorrow I will take the center panel off and see what is going on. All of the wiring is in loom and there were only three butt splices at the pigtail near the switch. Anyone used Gold Coast and had a similar situation? Anyone else make switches that fit in the OEM panel?

This doesn't surprise me. I've heard of issues with the aftermarket replacement multifunction switches.

Crap! This mlochridge guy's Ebay store has the Gold Coast Logo!!!! Give me a break!

I actually use those in my Jeep,and have had no issues with them other than they are over priced, but I keep buying them because they look stock which I like.

Soon to be updated with a front diff lock switch if I can find one.

No, you're right. I missed that link until just now!

He must have a pre-2003 TJ where the fog light switch was in the center console area as oppose to the later model TJs where the fog light switch was added to the multifunction switch (which is a horrible, horrible design FYI).
