Got my hoist and rope this past weekend to take Lucy's top off now I'm done with school. Graduation next week! Also looked around online for diy stands. Poked around and I had more than enough lumber to make the stand too. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend!

Gotta get ready for topless day on the 20th! Anyone used the sunrider conversion for the OEM top frame??

Did some poking around and found that this is not safe for speeds over 45 mph. I was interested in doing it and found some diy ways to do it but I travel the parkway/freeway regularly and can't be worrying about my top frame looking like twisted metal.

Hmm, I didn't really find any negatives. It has a strap that ties the center down when open just the the actual whole top kits.
