this might be a dumb question but... i just bought my first grease gun to take my own at home maintenance a step further and im not exactly sure what kind of grease to use! i plan to lube the suspension and steering components as well as the driveshaft as its recently been rebuilt with greasable joints. i know there are a few options out there like lithium and marine etc. but ive read mixing grease can be detrimental to the lubricated area and using 2 compounds can cause an abrasive effect instead. so just looking for opinions and guidance on choosing the correct grease to match what the previous owner or shops have used in the past, as well as something that has a good life or solid results.

Lucas Red and Tacky or Chevron Ultra Duty EP #2 are good choices.
