Hi I’m new to this forum ! I’m having a grinding noise when I’m starting my jeep. It sounds like a drill and won’t start. I just replaced my starter about two months ago and don’t know what it could be. Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks !

Did you purchase a rebuilt starter ?
IF you purchased the starter from an Auto Parts store such as Auto Zone; then there is a good chance it may have gone bad.
Auto Zone brags about their lifetime warranty, but how often do you want to replace the starter under warranty ?
I generally purchase parts locally from NAPA or online from Rock Auto who I have had good luck with.
