PC06. Insert a large flat screw driver on the key slot, hit it hard with a hammer, the key cylinder cracks easy and you wiggle the screw driver back and forth like a big ass key. The door lock will crack wide open. 5 seconds max.

So, I was just looking at some more parts. When will this slow down or end? lol Anyway, it seems Kentrol makes those lock nuts in silver, but not black. So I have black hinges with silver bolt? Seems very odd and stupid. Now to make matters worse, I have black Kentrol hinges on my full doors and wanted to match them with my half doors since they look a little odd mixed and matched. Well that isn't as simple if I want black locking nuts because the Kentrol thread is larger, so I can't just buy different locking nuts, I might have to buy Kentrol and paint the nut? Nothing seems simple at this point. It is Sunday and I was just at Bantam for a few hours in the rain, but forgot to ask about all these details. I will call tomorrow.
The locking door idea seems good enough. Where I park is more of a quick steal type place without a bunch of tools going and such. If someone walks by and sees an easy target they might grab something. They took my coworkers spare tire off the back. Mine now has three locks on it, so it will be a drag for them to deal with three locks on one damn tire.
1/2 doors are super light in comparison. It amazes me how small and light they are, so yeah someone could walk off with them. We are talking about the smarter thief though. Most are just so dumb they don't know they can take someone's door off. That would require thinking.

No shit lol. Obviously if somebody wants some half doors bad enough they will do whatever it takes to get them off. Relatively speaking I think what your doing is plenty safe. If somebody wants to break the damn lock off to steal some tj half doors they have more issues going on.

Remember, I am looking for a deterrent that slows a thief down, so they just move on to some other car. Everything is only a slow down, but if you need a special tool to take something without destroying it, that is good enough. Most aren't going to roll out with an angle grinder in a parking lot filled with people. They did take a spare tire off a Jeep in the middle of the day (10AM)! That is pretty ballsy.
I did look at that, but want something more discrete. Don't want the dumb idiots stealing stuff to think there is value in a door or you can even take a door.

Try the deer hunters hidden camera. It activates only when there's movement. I have that on my son's TJ in TX. It's cool, google it, depends on how much you want to spend. Better than alarm for you will just walk into the cop and show them the video. There are apps that will trigger your cell phone if the camera activates, etc. My son is a Millennial, and so he's got a kick out of it watching his phone remotely.

Nope it's the opposite, they don't have issue because they are so dumb low-life puss on earth. You and I have issues because we are decent productive people who aspires a better life, work hard for a living, values decency and integrity... but these losers are the opposite, they don't give a shit who they rob next.
You're giving stupid thieves a little too much credit for being able to figure out that the lock is there for a reason.
