Half doors

So I bought these half doors from a guy who had a 1998 Sahara for my 2002 TJ and the passenger side does not drop down to close into the closed position, so my question is is there a way to adjust the hinge in the door?

Does this make sense?

You might have to rock the door open and close while putting down pressure on it. It should drop down.

The door drops all the way down on the pins but that is not far enough!

I loosened the torx on mine to line up with the jeep contour, inspected the gaps evenly in closed position, then torqued them all back in place.

So you think there is enough to make up a half inch?

Are the doors aligned with the body on the outside? It's just the striker that's not lining up?

Absolutely, that's about how much I needed on mine.

This is definitely the approach I would take.

If you want, loosen the striker as well, I did that too, thinking that 1/2 is too big to align, but apparently it was very easy to align if you loosen all the torx (NOT TOO LOSE, JUST SNUG LOSE) and the striker bolts. Make sure that the gaps around the body is "even and plumb" before you torque them one by one at intervals (like a tire lug nuts)

No, it's not dropping down to the seal the bottom as well, so maybe I just need to loosen the Torx as you said.

I had to loosen the torx on the 1/2 doors I got as well. I don't recommend loosening the striker, as that will cause the full door to not line up.
