I bought some halo angel eye headlights from maximum jeep. The halo lights up white. But can light up green or red. It came with a plug that has a box in the middle and a plug on each side. Got it plugged in and everything works. I wanted a green halo but didn't know it had to be wired up a certain why. The headlights have 2 wires on the back of them that are not currently being used. I assume the green one for the green halo and the red one for a red halo. The white one is currently working but don't know the best way to get the green one to work.

You just have to wire the extra auxiliary wire (for the halo ring) to one of the parking light wires (the wire that gets power when you turn on the parking lights). That would do it!
Sorry but you are exactly the type I pulled over regulary. You need to check local laws. Most states say white or Amber are the only colors that can be displayed forward. Why give my brothers an excuse?

Don't drive with those green lights on, it's illegal and also stupid. The white trim rings would be fine, but you aren't legally allowed to display any other color from your headlights other than white.

And Utah law said any color displayed to the rear could be red, amber, or a small white light displaying the license plate.
The kid I pulled over that had his entire underside lite up with blue had a stroke when I told him blue belong to me so therefore I was going to impound his car.———— I let him cut the power wire instead.

Oh yeah, I know. I am pretty familiar with the lighting laws (at least in Oregon). I've seen so many guys get pulled over for green, red, blue, etc., running lights, LED ground lights, etc. I think it's a bad idea to have anything like that personally, because eventually you're going to get a ticket for it, which will just be a hassle to deal with.
So you can't run odd color headlights? I saw a truck with purple headlights the other day; he will be stopped by an officer I'm assuming?

Depends on local laws. I'll lay you odds however the purple headlight (not just blue halogens) are not US DOT compliant.

Purple? No way... However, if you have a DOT legal HID which sometimes has a purple glare from different angles, that is fine.
It's just when you get those guys with the actual purple bulbs in their Honda Civic, that's most definitely illegal no matter what state you're in. It's also dangerous as well!
I'd bet you dollars to donuts that guy will get stopped by a cop.

Here in PA yellow in the front, red in the back. But your allowed to light your pride and joy up in the parking lot all you want, just not on the road. Bit if you ride a bike we can light them up going down the road. It makes us more visible to all the cagers. But no strobing and no changing colors.

The rainbows of color I see on some cars is maddening. Lit up under, over, forward and back in all colors of the rainbow and often cycling through all the colors on auto.
It makes me crazy. It’s right up there with angry eyes or tinted light housings. Why anyone would do ANYTHING to reduce light output is beyond me.

There doesn't even have to be a specific law.
All those things would be covered under anything that's a 'distraction to others' enforcible at the cop's discretion.

Pretty much the same here, Blue belongs to PD vehicles.
As for the HID lights all are illegal here unless they come from the vehicle manufacturer.
