Hi all, Happy Holidays!

2005 TJ (LJ) 4.0 starting acting up. Really Hard to start unless I give it lots of throttle, once its started it idles ok, however when you give it some gas it surges. I replaced the TPS and that made no difference. I also replaced the fuel pump, I had bought it already before this issue came up as the Jeep is getting high in Milage so I was stocking up on Maintenance items. Also changed the plugs as they were do for a change. I'll clean the IAC after Christmas, another good item thingy to do, but from what I read on the IAC doesn't seem to relate to the problem I'm having.

The surging began first
The hard starting began a few days later
The speedo stopped working along with the hard starting.

I parked it for a couple weeks till I got to look at it, when I drove it to my shop the speedo started working again but the surging was still there, idle still good.

Now that I've done some work on it, speedo doesn't work again, surging and hard starting.

Checked for broken wires and bad grounds so far but haven't found anything yet.

Odd to have multi issues without it being something in common (bad ground) though it is possible I suppose I'm chasing separate issues.

Posting while I think on it and do some more trouble shooting.

Codes I got before I made any changes. Think the CMP is the cause.
