Just got the hard top out of storage and on the jeep for winter. The rear glass doesn't seem to want to seal and stay shut. there really isn't any contact between the bottom of the glass and the tail gate. What's the best fix for it?
The absolute best fix I’ve seen is the rubber gasket that slips over the tailgate and is round on top- amazon for 9.95. Hopefully someone will post a pic - I can’t seem to load links.

Did you replace the original gaskets under the HT side windows with a heavy duty gasket kit? I had this same issue after I replaced the original gaskets with "upgrades". These were about 5x thicker than the factory gaskets and it's enough to cause a few issues, including tailgate/rear window issue.

Sometimes the glass pops out a bit when you slam the drivers door, I have all the gaskets but need to give it a bit of a push each corner after locking up when I know its going to rain heavy, not sure the equalization vents always work as they should?

Same for me, and what I do is: if I am closing the door from the outside, I close the door until it latches and then I push it fully closed. If I am inside the Jeep and closing the door, I roll down the window a few cm and then close the door normally. Interestingly, the rear window only pops open when I am closing the driver's side. On the passenger side, no problem-the rear window doesn't pop open.

Ditto for me, just that little piece of weatherstripping across the top of the tailgate lip, keeps a more firm press on the rear window and holds it snug in place.
I had the same issue on a previous TJ and added a piece of bulb trim to the top of the tailgate. However, I don't think I needed that thick of a trim. I've seen others have used a piece of u-channel trim to the top of the tailgate with success.
