Has anyone replaced their TJ frame with one from Throttle Down Kustoms? What was your experience? Any specific challenges?

I’m thinking about starting a new build with one.

Local salvage yards here in Va. Reasonably priced frames are everywhere, except the rustbelt states where everybody needs one and new Jeeps would be less expensive to buy. I've lived in VT and CT.

Getting the cash for an overpriced frame and hiding the cost from the wife. It's your money and Jeep though. Best of luck.

I think @TheBoogieman is on the right track, donor Jeep. Cheap totaled Jeep with a good frame.
Isn’t the OP in Kalifornia? SGTJEEP might have what is needed. Frame, complete wreck, parts, etc.

I have no knowledge about a throttle down frame.

This has been on Craigslist for a few months. I would bet he's willing to take less.

Yeah, I can find them. If they are a days drive away from me (in Michigan) they are 1500+ Probably worth a drive south when I do need to replace it.
