Hey all, New LJ owner here! I'm on another forum since '09 and have been in the Jeep scene for a little while. I've had an Islander, Grand Cherokee, and 5 JK's. Now we're down to 1 JK (wife's) and my 05 Unlimited non Rubi. I've always loved the look of TJs and wanted one for a while, got lucky and found a pretty nice one recently. So now I'm here to mingle with you fine folks and look for tips, tricks, runs, builds and just BS sometimes.
Cheers!
JT

Nice job on the Unlimited model! There's a bunch of folks on here from Arizona as well.

Got any immediate plans for it?

Chris, I do.
Immediate plans are, get new tires. 33X12.50 Mickey Thompson ATZP3s, getting a Detriot in the rear from On Point in the next week or so, and removing the explorer fan clutch and fan and putting a stock assy in.

So a little background on my new Jeep...
I just bought it two weeks ago. It was listed with a rear locker and it doesn't have one in it so they're paying to have one installed. It's got C&C Fabs Armor around the body, steel bumpers, Light bars (which will be up for sale soon :sneaky:) a 4" RC coil lift with Lowers, Magnaflow, Aftermarket intake (which will also be for sale soon).
Super clean and runs great! It's got 58k miles, no tears, no fade etc.
It needs, better shocks, the fan parts swapped out, a 3.5" RK long arm lift w/ 35s, new gearing, HP Dana 30 front w/shafts, tom woods, SYE
That's the intermediate plans LOL

Those Explorer fan clutches are loud as hell, aren't they?
