Help assessing rust-Pictures provided

Hello All, looking to get back into a jeep and found this 05 LJR.

The driver floor pan needs to be replaced but the torque box is solid. My question involves the frame, I have no real experience in judging these things and would love some insight. Concerning areas are near the rear spring perches and back, and between the T-Case skid.

There is definitely some flaking but no spots that light gets through and nothing that feels weak when hit with a hammer/screwdriver.

I wouldn't even buy it if he took the 1 off of his price and said I could have it for $7500 ! That thing is either from Ohio or is a hurricane rescue with that much rust .

all these Rust stories makes me so glad i had mine undercoated and always flushed the frame when i went near mud.


otherwise my frame would look like that too.

Such a shame people neglected them. Would be such a nice jeep if rust free.

It looks like someone undercoated that one but it didn't help.

If I thought I could get $10,000 for mine these days I would probably sell it. They don't sell here in Va, unless you practically give them away.
