Posting this because I have no idea what just happened. Maybe someone has some ideas.
I was just driving along and my wrangler made a loud bang sound followed by some bucking and loss of power. It now has a bit of loss of power/delayed power at start and when shifting gears.
I liken the loss of power feeling to when my cat was a little clogged and it just wanted to die.
What do you think caused the bang and now loss of power?
Notes:
1. I just got done installing an AC system less pugging the controller back in and installing the fuses for the A/C system. Mine did not have AC before so this meant a new belt as well and retentioning. Perhaps too tight? I attempted the 70-80 degree twisting tension. I also just flushed the coolant as I put in a new t-stat.
2. There is no squealing or anything at idle. Feels fine.
