Hello all, would like assistance in temp fix for my defroster actuators.
Currently default all air to windshield defrost, with all arms open. Fan and heat works but isn't ideal.
I know I have a leak but its too cold to fix the vacuum lines rt now and risk more damage on cold.
My summer plans to re vamp system vac lines.
SO: thinking I can temp fix by zip tying any (or all) of the vacuum ‘pot’ arms closed, to have a more 50 50 split on air to vents.
I would like to get 50 to windshield and 50 to the ‘in your face’ vents (assume panel) for side window defrost action.
Top Middle and Bottom “pots” which one or combo to zip tie closed?
Trying it by myself but need 8 arms to actuate combos and another 5 arms to feel for each one venting…
