Just bought my first Jeep a little over a month ago. It's a 2004 4.0L LJ in the most awesome color as far as I'm concerned. 
Hubby is my chief mechanic as long as I share it with him on the weekends. Because it's my daily driver, it'll see some very mild trail use. Since the purchase, I've gone from the 35" mud tires (which were rubbing and wearing really uneven) to 33" all terrains. Hubs has reconfigured the spare tire carrier and replaced tie rod ends as well as some general maintenance. The first week of driving was a real learning experience for me coming from a 3/4 ton crew cab F250. Holy cow, I can park anywhere now! I love driving this Jeep! As of right now, no major mods planned but there are a few smaller items on my list.
