Hola from Mexico

Hey Jeep peeps,

Tony here.

I'm from Mazatlan, Mexico. Retired from the California rat race and moved here in 2002. This is what I do: http://www.lorodeoroinn.com/

I have owned a few Grand Cherokees. My favorite is my 1998 5.9 which is continually under the mod knife. It presently sits on jack stands awaiting the start and completion of too many projects to name.

Bought my first and hopefully last 2006 TJ X 6 speed a year ago this last April. Hated it at first because I couldn't help comparing it to the comfort and power of my 5.9. Slowly it started to grow on me. Now I kinda enjoy being cramped in and bounced around while surrounded by the absence of creature comforts. I have done a few mostly cosmetic mods just to make it mine.

Welcome to the forum! My aunt and uncle retired and live in Mexico as well. They live in a retirement community somewhere down in Guadalajara near a huge large (can't remember the name).

A Wrangler seems like the perfect vehicle to own in Mexico!
