How big of a headache is replacing blown head gasket?

Great info I am dealing with similar issue. Looks like Oily crap in my radiator and temperature is creeping past 200 on the highway . Also engine vibration after 55 mph. Oil looks clean. Replaced water pump. Fan clutch and thermostat and still temperature rising past 200 degrees, 97 tj 4.0 146,000 miles .
I've had mine pulled off twice in the last year. First time to replace the cam and lifters I THOUGHT was causing my engine rattle. Second time to do the rebuild that actually cured it. I left the manifold on and just dropped the Y pipe. Used a chain and come along from the garage rafters to lift it up and pushed the jeep out from under it. Worked good.
