This is my 97 2.5
The P.O. left me with this. The white wires are to fuel inj#3.
No wonder I'm getting a misfire in cyl #3. Twisted and bare wires which need replacing or repair.

I would like to replace the entire fuel injector wire harness but finding one in good condition may be futile, so ..

Is my next best option to unwrap the entire wiring harness and examine each individual wire and repair?.

I would just solder and heat shrink it, then drive it like normal.

Is that bare wire as well just down a little? AND, what's up with the wire nut below your thumb?

Yes good eyes CodaMan bare wire in 2 or 3 places, all needing solder and repair.
That wire nut is more P.O. work.

Looks like #3 and possibly #2 fuel injectors have been replaced. The wire nut below my thumb goes to inj#2.

I'll remove the wire nut then solder and shrink wrap that wire as well.
