How do I remove the blower motor?

Alright stupid question. How do I get the blower motor out!? I read it unscrews but I cant get the sucker to move help would be appreciated greatly!

My ‘06 has a few screws holding it, then you pushed in on a little tab thing and twisted it and it lowered down into the footwell.

I think it had some screws, maybe not.

In the back corner (farther forward, same side as elec connector), is a plastic tab/tang that you flex downward. Then unscrew. Careful, it's easy to over flex it, then it will not go back to normal position and lock the motor in place.

Edit- Hmmmm, my '06 has the tab.

No screws. I must have confused it with my truck, I dont know.

Edit- Hmmmm, my '06 has the tab.

+1 I replaced mine this way. Pay careful attention to the plug that goes to the motor. Often it gets corroded or burnt from arching. Clean it with contact cleaner and I had to bend the metal contacts a tiny bit to create a tighter fit/connection.
