How important is it to change the automatic transmission filter?

This is on my iPhone, but my laptop does the same.

I prefer RTV for sealing the pan. That’s just based upon my experience with normal gaskets. Mopar filter of course.

RTV is great stuff but most folks put on way too much. If it oozes out inside those little bits can clog things up. One must be careful to use it sparingly.
