I'm an idiot and broke the glass in my passenger side door glass. Let's just say it was assaulted by my smoker.

How do I replace it? Is it a DIY kind of job or do I need to take it to a body shop? Where would one buy replacement door glass?

It's not a difficult job. The only odd tool you might need is the one to remove the window crank. It can be done without one but as cheap as they are it's not worth the trouble. Remove the panel and diligently clean all of the broken glass. After that just remove the screws from the regualtor. Slide the new glass in and reinstall everything. It's good just to snug everything up and make sure it moves smoothly before reassembling everything. The glass can be ordered from most large parts suppliers like Quadratec or Amazon. Safelite list it as $323 in my area. Call around and you may find it cheaper.
There are several how to videos on YouTube that will help out. Here's just one that I found.

Thanks! Quadratec has them for $45. I laughed remembering what you said Safelite listed them for.
