Is there any brand ignition actuator pin that is preferred or should be avoided?
I was doing some preventative maintenance yesterday on the wife’s TJ, and was changing the actuator pin. I have a new Crown item and I could not for the life of me get it to go into the factory fitted ignition switch.
On closer inspection I noticed that the Crown actuator pin is a rectangle where it engages with the switch, but the switch is a rectangle with rounded corners in the receptacle. I could file the actuator pin for a snug fit but didn’t really want to go down that path.
What brand actuator pin are most guys using, has anyone else come across this same problem.
