Ignition/multifunction switch advice

Hey Jeep Junkies...

It looks like I'll finally have a little "extra money" to adress a couple problems my TJ has had since I bought it...

When I start it, I put the turn signal on, and once started, I jiggle/wiggle the key, until the turn signal works (radio comes on at the same time)...

I know this is a common problem, but there seems to be 2 possible fixes...

the first being the starter switch actuator pin...

the second being the ignition starter switch

Is there a way to tell which one needs replaced without pulling it all apart? Or should I just replace both, since they both appear to be prone to failure...

Also, my windshield wiper switch is acting up...the intermittents don't work at all anymore...the mist feature only works if I pull the lever in a certain specific way...

Replace the entire multifunction switxh, and wiper switch assembly both? Or just the wiper switch assembly? (The light stalk side works flawlessly)

I've never had these problems and don't know the best way to fix any of them...yet.


And I hope that using "yet" right there doesn't cause my Jeep to teach me the hard way.
