In Dash Radio Speaker

Removed the console and then removed the inner portion of the console to get to the speaker. Removed the four wires and taped them off then reassembled the unit after testing to make sure the rest of the system still worked. Much better now that the woofer is silenced but the other speakers don't sound that great either. Probably a lot to do with the age. And the original quality. If I ever think I might want better sound I will likely upgrade all at the same time. Not much room in the console to put a speaker with more depth unless as mentioned before you do some cutting inside. Thanks for the help on this project. Next I need to see if the CD player works but will clean the lens first. Probably has never been used.

Don't test it with a CD you care about. I had to remove mine the hard way...
